Collision of Two Worlds

The 'haves' and 'have nots' - Heaven and the Underworld - by Brian Clark

2007 hosts the final two oppositions of Saturn & Neptune, at the end of February and June, auguring a collective realisation.

Neptune, archetype of dissolution & ideals - diverse spiritual attitudes, oneness, oil & gas, pharmaceutical drugs, viruses, confront -

Saturn, god of reality & traditionalism, fundamental ideologies, boundaries, govt sanctions, controls and standards. Tension between the two extremes is heightened.

Meanwhile Uranus' transit through Pisces is entangled on the eclipse trail, provoking all things fishy, accentuating Neptunian confusion.

At the end of the year, Jupiter's dash through Sagittarius concludes in a powerful reunion with Pluto, setting the stage for the economic and political realignments ahead.

Walls and Windows

2007: Saturn-Neptune opposition matures, ushering in the waning half of its cycle when what was seeded at its conjunction is becoming apparent. Communal ideals and dreams are being audited; global leaders try to extricate themselves from the mess.

As the cycle ripens, both the successes and the blunders of the past are more visible, embedded in the produce and policies of the times. The opposition forming suggests the midpoint has arrived and the buds are opening: Is the fruit fit for consumption? ....

18 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall we are experiencing the impact of a world without walls, that is unable to keep the enemy out, & windows that expose, and offer everything. We are at a critical crossroads where Saturn, god of consequences, reveals its report card.

It is the time for effective rules, inspirational leaders, insightful mentors, systems that empower and controls that support.

Mythic Traditions of Pluto & Jupiter

Nearly 3,000 years ago Homer told how Jupiter overthrew Saturn, his father, with the help of Neptune and Pluto. A new order came into being and the brothers divided up the realms of the Earth amongst themselves. Pluto drew the lot of the underworld, the realm of darkness.

As lord of death and rebirth, Pluto is the silent, invisible brother, who removes himself from worldly affairs, yet ironically, he senses and governs collective life at its deepest levels. Pluto is caretaker of what lies underground - secrets, shame, buried passions, unexpressed grief, negative feelings, simmering rivalries and rage, revenge, betrayal, and critical issues that remain uncompleted between both allies and enemies.
