On
the Edge of the World
by
Martin Lewicki
"When
seemingly conflicting areas of inquiry are
forced to meet at their boundaries, then
a paradigm shift is imminent."
Original
thinkers of the 20th Century
have applied physics and philosophy to explain
and understand astrology and its synchronicity,
including: Michel Gauquelin, Percy Seymour,
Rudolf Steiner, Albert Einstein and Carl
Jung.
With
the emergence of Quantum Physics
we know now that the universe is filled
with 'vibrational energies' in the form
of electromagnetic waves, gravity waves
and vibrating 'strings' that underlie matter
itself and which project through space and
time.
Studies
of correspondences between solar,
lunar and planetary cycles and their effects
on life forms, have revealed that life on
earth interacts in subtle modes with the
Cosmos. While skeptics continue to deny
that planets have noticeable effects, evidence
of cosmic correspondence is mounting.
How
Does Astrology Work?
While
the modern astrological chart is
constructed on geometric / numerological
principles that best fit a non-causal or
synchronistic model, the studies of Michel
Gauquelin and of astronomer Percy Seymour
point to a physical energetic model that
includes electromagnetism, gravity and the
genetic code.
Our
human interaction with planetary
cycles appears to include a rich combination
of principles, both causal and non-causal,
which overlap each other and engage us in
a creative dance indicated by the planets
in their ever-evolving cyclic configurations.
So,
how does astrology work?
Can it be accommodated by the scientific
worldview?
Is
astrology a science, or is it something
else?
