Secret Power of
Names
by Penny Unn
Your
name is so much more than a mere label to
distinguish you from others.
If
you know someone's name before
you meet them, it has already created an
image in your mind: you may have an idea
of their nationality or race, their gender
and, - since name trends vary from generation
to generation - often an idea of age.
Observant and psychically sensitive people
associate certain traits with the sound
or vibration of a name. Numerology is a
way to find the hidden resonance within
a name.
Amazing
Numbers
According
to the ancient science of numerology, this
is due to the hidden vibrational influence
emanating from every name.
Each
letter of the alphabet is assigned a numerical
equivalent, and by adding a name's letters
you can convert it to numbers that give
valuable insight into a person's soul nature,
personality and destiny. Amazing, isn't
it: so much information from just a simple
name!
Which
name do you use to make this calculation
- your birth name, nickname, married name,
pseudonym, business name?
Some numerologists believe that you should
use only the name you're known as, in everyday
life, but many consider you should use your
birth name as it is said to create a vibration
that lasts for life.
All
other names, such as nicknames and married
names, can be viewed as channels through
which your character develops and the destiny
of your full birth name evolves.
Name
numbers consist of 3 main factors:
Soul number:
Calculated from the vowels in a
person's full birth name.
Personality Number:
Based on the birth name's consonants.
Destiny
Number:
Uses the sum total of the name's vowels
and consonants.
The
'Secret Power of Names'
gives clear directions for working
out the soul, personality and destiny numbers
from any name, and has a Table showing "How
to calculate your name's value".
As
well, there is a two page, detailed Chart
showing interpretations of each of the numbers,
for Soul, Personality and Destiny
respectively, for each number 1 to 9.
